Familiar Surrounds for Holdsworth’s 2023 Trans Am Campaign

Brett Holdsworth enters the 2023 Trans Am season with the same team and backing from the previous year, with Ashley Seward Motorsport and Breeze Holiday Parks.

Holdsworth finished the 2022 season in third place, after a concerted effort to promote consistency over outright pace. At the non-points paying finale at Bathurst however, Holdsworth proved his ability to compete at the very front of the field as he settled into the podium places all weekend long.

For the upcoming season, Holdsworth has signalled his intentions to fight for more race wins with the comfort of consistency in his environment at the racetrack. Breeze Holiday Parks returns as the primary sponsor for the #99 Chevrolet Camaro.

Breeze Holiday Parks operate tourist destinations around Australia, with a variety of options to sat for campers and holiday makers. The company operate 13 destinations across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Windcave come on board as a new sponsor, to join PriPark, TPS Group and SITE Traffic. Windcave facilitates seamless ecommerce, retail and unattended transactions, with their payment gateway systems.

Holdsworth recently competed a pre-season test at Winton Motor Raceway, with a refreshed Camaro after an off-season birthday for the car.

“This year is shaping up to be an absolute belter, and I’m expecting one of the closest top 10’s the category has ever had after qualifying at Symmons Plains,” said Holdsworth.

“The goal for us this year is to build on what we put together in 2022. It’s the same team, and same crew members working on the car this year so we’ve got some great consistency from last year and momentum as well. We finished the year strongly at the Bathurst International, and were definitely one of the quickest cars.

“Our test day was extremely positive, I was able to shake the car down after it had some touch ups in the offseason and it feels fantastic. We tried plenty of different things and set ourselves up nicely to hit the ground running at Race Tasmania.

“Trans Am is doing some different stuff this year with the format’s which is pretty cool. I believe the category has all the makings to be the best series in Australia and the sheer quality that’s assembled in the field for round one just proves that. I can’t wait to get the year started,” concluded Holdsworth.
