Autoglym Livery Revealed for ASM Lynk & Co

A striking Auotglym livery has been unveiled on the Ashley Seward Motorsport prepared Lynk & Co 03 TCR which will make its Supercheap Auto TCR Australia debut at Phillip Island with Tom Oliphant behind the wheel.

Autoglym take centre stage on the livery, which has been updated from the scheme that previously adorned the team’s Alfa Romeo with which Oliphant contested the opening round of the season. The #115 entry is further supported by AWC, WIN Network and i98 FM.

Oliphant was impressive in his Australian racing debut in round one of TCR Australia at Symmons Plains. The British Touring Car Championship race winner was immediately on the pace as he challenged the front running cars and netted fifth place for the round after three races.

Prior to being adorned with its racing colours, the Lynk & Co 03 TCR was put through its paces by Oliphant and the ASM team at a Phillip Island test day. The productive hit-out allowed Oliphant to turn his first laps of the iconic circuit while he and the team came to terms with the freshly rebuilt chassis.

The car is the first from automotive brand Lynk & Co, which was formed as a joint venture between Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car group, to appear in Australia. The brand has been immediately successful in motorsport with seven world titles in TCR racing since 2019, and most recently claiming a 1-2 finish in the opening round of the Kumho TCR World Tour.

Round two of Supercheap Auto TCR Australia will take place at Phillip Island from May 12-14 as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries. Qualifying and all three races will be live on Stan Sport, with coverage of Saturday’s action live and free on the Nine Network.

Tom Oliphant, Driver, ASM
“It’s super exciting to finally have the car fully liveried up and looking its best ahead of round two,” said Oliphant.

“The car looks phenomenal and will certainly stand out amongst the TCR Australia field. I was able to do some testing in the car a couple of weeks ago and was extremely impressed by it. The Lynk & Co feels like a proper race car, and it’s clear that a lot of time and money has been spent in its development.

“I’m excited to get the round underway and put on a good performance for all of our sponsors in Autoglym, AWC, WIN Network and i98 FM,” concluded Oliphant.

David Turney, Head of Marketing, Autoglym Australia
“Tim from TP Race Design has done an outstanding job of making the new Lynk & Co 03 TCR look like it belongs out in front, with a big and bold livery designed in Autoglym colours,” said Turney.

“From any angle, this car definitely has some muscle, and the new livery captures every flex, perfectly. We can’t wait to see it turning race laps, for the first time here in Australia, at Phillip Island this weekend,” concluded Turney.

Ashley Seward, Team Owner, ASM
“Our livery for the Autoglym Lynk & Co does a superb job in highlighting how incredible this race car looks,” said Seward.

“We’re extremely grateful for the support from our partners at Autoglym, they’ve been huge supporters of our program in TCR and I’m really excited to hopefully reward them with a strong showing at Phillip Island.

“The test day we completed highlighted a lot of speed in the car, and got the crew accustomed to working with the new machinery. It’s much more aligned with what Tom has driven previously which is a big benefit, and the laps he logged at what was another new circuit for him will be of great value,” concluded Seward.
