TekworkX Motorsport have wasted no time in securing the services of High Performance Media for the 2022 season. Operating in Australia’s most exciting and revered categories, the Gold Coast based family team currently boasts eight cars all racing across the country at the biggest events Australian motorsport has to offer.
Born out of ambition for Team Owner Rob Woods, TekworkX was established in 2017 and quickly acquired leading talent in every department of the team. Late in 2021, Supercars stalwart, Porsche Australia Chief Driving Instructor and Bathurst 1000 winner Luke Youlden bought into the team as a shareholder along with Rachelle Woods, daughter to Rob.
In 2022, TekworkX stunned the Carrera Cup paddock when they arrived to the season opener with an eye opening advantage in lap speed and subsequently led the Championship for the first time heading to round two which approaches in two weeks.
The team has also established themselves as a home for young talent with their operation in the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series. This year TekworkX are running three full time entries with a fourth Toyota 86 being campaigned at state rounds before an expected step up to the National series in the second half of 2022.
Rounding out their stable of cars are two entries to the Porsche Sprint Challenge.
